Woman Claims She Was Fired By Bank For Being "Too Sexy"
A woman in Queens, New York is taking Citibank to court, claiming she was fired from her job at a Manhattan branch for being "too sexy." Debrahlee Lorenzana says she wore appropriate clothing and dressed professionally during her time of employment at a Citibank branch in the Chrysler Building, but was told by her bosses multiple times that her curvy figure was "too distracting." Lorenzana says she was discriminated against and ultimately fired from her 70-thousand-dollar-a-year job at Citibank because bank officials told her her body shape was different and too distracting to male employees. The 32-year-old Lorenzana's gender discrimination lawsuit is currently in private arbitration. Citibank officials have said Lorenzana's lawsuit is "without merit." So "Dat Hot Broad from da bank" is SSBOTD!
